Our Initiatives & Programs
Scalable, community-centric development models addressing critical needs in livelihoods, clean drinking water, public health, and ecological preservation.

Skill Development & Livelihood Training
Empowering rural youth and women with vocational independence and market-linked employment.
CEDRA operates specialized vocational training centers and intensive skill camps across Gujarat and Rajasthan, offering market-aligned courses in Tailoring & Garment Stitching, Cosmetology & Bridal Salon Artistry, Mehndi (Henna) Design, Hand-Painted Textiles, Digital Literacy, and Handicrafts. In partnership with Cairn Oil & Gas (Vedanta), we recently empowered 1,200+ rural daughters in Barmer to achieve complete vocational self-reliance.

Safe Drinking Water & Sanitation (RO Plants)
Delivering community-owned purified drinking water infrastructure to salinity-affected villages.
High fluoride and salinity levels in coastal and arid regions of Gujarat cause severe water-borne diseases and joint ailments. CEDRA partners with local village panchayats and corporate CSRs (like CAIRN India and Neer Amrit) to install and sustainably operate Community-Based Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Plants under public-private-panchayat models.

Healthcare Camps & Child Nutrition
Bringing specialized medical care, maternal checkups, and nutritional support to doorsteps.
CEDRA conducts comprehensive multi-specialty health camps, pediatric clinics, eye checkup drives, and maternal nutrition interventions across remote rural pockets. Working alongside CAIRN (Vedanta Oil & Gas), ICDS, CHETNA, and HelpAge India, we champion preventative healthcare and lead transformative drives such as the Zero Hunger: VDHM Half Marathon campaign.

Environmental Conservation & Afforestation
Promoting green cover, bio-diversity conservation, and climate awareness across communities.
Combating desertification, soil erosion, and climate vulnerability through community-led tree plantation drives, school environmental clubs, and state-wide afforestation campaigns like 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' and 'Hariyalo Rajasthan'.

Socio-Economic Research & Policy Evaluation
Rigorous academic methodologies in collaboration with India's premier management institutions.
In partnership with faculty and researchers from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and international bodies like UNICEF, CEDRA carries out baseline surveys, socio-economic impact evaluations, primary school assessments, and participatory rural appraisals (PRA).

Community Help Desk Project
Connecting people with the right information, services, and essential support—making everyday problem-solving faster, easier, and more accessible.
The Community Help Desk Project empowers marginalized families, senior citizens, and rural women by bridging the digital and bureaucratic divide. Implemented under the Micro Level Intervention (MLI Project) supported by Vedanta Limited and Cairn Oil & Gas, our centers provide essential guidance and direct assistance with government welfare applications, pension entitlements, healthcare cards, ration cards, educator support, and emergency civic relief across operational locations including Gujarat and Assam.
