Skill Development & Livelihood Training
Empowering rural youth and women with vocational independence and market-linked employment.

Program Overview & Methodology
Economic independence is the cornerstone of societal dignity. Since 1995, CEDRA has designed customized, village-level vocational workshops that cater directly to local economic demand and women self-reliance.
Our flagship 45-day residential and day-boarding skill development camp in Barmer, Rajasthan, empowered over 1,200 rural daughters across four core trades: Cosmetology & Bridal Salon Art, Industrial Garment Stitching, Hand-Painted Textiles, and Henna Artistry. The convocation was graced by MLA Dr. Priyanka Chaudhary, Nari Shakti Puraskar awardee Ruma Devi, and Income Tax Commissioner Bhairaram Chaudhary.
In addition to skill training, every trainee receives a comprehensive starter kit, enabling immediate home-based or boutique commercial operations with verifiable household income growth.
Our network of tailoring and vocational training centers in Jamnagar, Suvarda, Viramgam, and Barmer continues to create a sustainable pipeline of grassroots female entrepreneurs.
