Environmental Conservation & Afforestation

Program Overview & Methodology

Gujarat and Rajasthan's semi-arid regions face significant ecological pressures and desertification. CEDRA believes sustainable rural progress is inseparable from environmental balance.

Under the national 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative and 'Hariyalo Rajasthan' mission, CEDRA partners with Vedanta Oil & Gas, Cairn Foundation, and local school administrations—such as Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS) Malpura—to mobilize students, teachers, and community elders in mass tree planting drives.

Each student is entrusted with nurturing their planted sapling with regular watering and organic compost, instilling lifelong ecological stewardship and fostering green village micro-climates.
