Our Story

Three Decades of Grassroots Dedication

From local community meetings in 1995 to statewide developmental impact across 23 districts in Gujarat.

Established in 1995 under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 (Registration No. E-4801) and approved under the Government of India NITI Aayog NGO Darpan portal, CEDRA is a grassroots non-governmental organization headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Our core philosophy is rooted in the empowerment of weaker and oppressed sections of society—especially rural women, underprivileged youth, school children, and elderly citizens.

Through strategic linkages with Government welfare schemes, international donor agencies, and corporate CSR programs, CEDRA translates social investments into measurable, long-term community development.

Guiding Principles

Vision, Mission & Community Philosophy

The core values driving three decades of impactful grassroots development.

Our Vision

To envisage an equitable, inclusive, and balanced society where marginalized and rural citizens have equal access to dignified livelihood opportunities, quality education, clean water, healthcare, and human rights.

Our Mission

To empower the masses through awareness generation, education, vocational skills, community participation, and natural resource management by building sustainable partnerships with government and corporate stakeholders.

Our Philosophy

Sustainable change must be community-owned. We avoid creating welfare dependency; instead, we incubate local Village Committees, self-help groups, and micro-enterprises to sustain development projects indefinitely.
