Community Help Desk Project
Connecting people with the right information, services, and essential support—making everyday problem-solving faster, easier, and more accessible.

Program Overview & Methodology
Government welfare programs provide vital lifelines for vulnerable citizens, but complex online portals and documentation requirements often deter illiterate and elderly individuals.
In long-term partnership with Vedanta Limited and Cairn Oil & Gas (MLI Project), CEDRA's Community Help Desks function as accessible, one-stop citizen facilitation centers. Our trained field coordinators verify eligibility, complete digital applications, coordinate with taluka and district administrative offices, and follow through until welfare disbursements are secured.
Under the MLI Project in collaboration with Vedanta Oil & Gas, CEDRA executed dedicated community infrastructure development for State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams, creating resilient civil and operational facilities to bolster rapid disaster response and relief logistics.
Under the MLI Project in Assam, CEDRA and Vedanta Oil & Gas organized special Teacher's Day celebrations honoring rural school headmasters and teachers with traditional Assamese Gamochas and awards, acknowledging their pivotal role in rural child education and community building.
Alongside one-to-one desk assistance, the MLI team conducts mobile Nukkad Natak (street plays), National Girl Child Day empowerment assemblies in rural schools, International Women's Day #GiveToGain recognitions, and World Cancer Day health camps to build broad-based civic awareness.
